The harmonic distortion product results offer much more detail into the makeup of the harmonic distortion. For each channel, the rms level of stimulus tone is displayed as F, the fundamental, followed by the rms level of the first nine harmonics.
In the Distortion Product Level view, the bars show rms level. In the Distortion Product Ratio view, the bars represent the ratio of the rms level of the distortion product to the rms level of the entire signal.
Continuous Sweep and Acoustic Response THD Distortion Product results
Similar to the meter bar results, the continuous sweep and acoustic response harmonic distortion product results provide great detail about the makeup of the harmonic distortion. For each channel, a selected harmonic product is plotted against frequency. You can choose to view the plot of any harmonic from 2nd to 20th.
In the Distortion Product Level view, the graph displays rms level. In the Distortion Product Ratio view, the graph displays the ratio of the rms level of the distortion product to the rms level of the fundamental tone.
