Since its introduction in 2019, APx500 Flex has been our most economical solution for making audio measurements. Originally, these analyzers were sold with two simultaneous ASIO professional audio interface (or sound card) channels and with the option to connect up-to eight. With so many customers relying on Flex for production and other higher channel-count applications, Audio Precision has just added the ability to interface up-to 16 simultaneous ASIO channels and has eliminated the need to pay extra for more channels. APx500 Flex, APx516B, and APx517B now include the ability to connect to 16 ASIO channels at a time for the same price as we formerly sold 2-channel access. More for less!

This makes APx500 Flex the highest value solution for multichannel audio measurement. It allows you to combine the APx500 measurement software with a multichannel soundcard to cost effectively make measurements that require more than two channels. Applications include automotive cabin acoustic measurements and the ability to reduce manufacturing cost via parallel test of devices.
