Beginning with APx software release version 4.6, an APx KeyBox is required for users wishing to operate their Legacy APx audio analyzer with version 4.6 or later. APx users will need to request a KeyBox for each Legacy APx analyzer they own. Key items to note regarding the APx KeyBox:
- - Provided at no cost (there is a fee for replacement KeyBoxes)
- - Must be requested (see "request" link below)
- - Is required to run APx v4.6 or later
- - Is locked or matched to a specific analyzer serial number
- - Is shipping with each new instrument
