The UK and Ireland region comprises one of the top audio design markets in the world, and AP is proud to directly serve this market out of our UK office. Our knowledgeable staff can help you with technical expertise and audio test challenges.

Most recently, imc Test and Measurement and GRAS Sound & Vibration joined AP under the Battery Ventures parent umbrella, bringing together three great brands under one platform: Axiometrix Solutions. As such, we now offer imc and GRAS products through AP UK Ltd, alongside our AP audio testing suite.

Fariha joined GRAS & Audio Precision in 2025 as Regional Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland, bringing a strong background in test and measurement and a passion for delivering tailored technical solutions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Cardiff University and has supported customers across various industries with complex sales and application needs. Based in Cardiff, Fariha plays a key role in developing new business and strengthening client relationships.

Philippa joined GRAS in 2017 and now serves as Sales Director for EMEA at Axiometrix Solutions, representing the GRAS, Audio Precision, and imc brands. She has worked with customers across a wide range of industries — from aerospace to consumer electronics — helping them identify the right test solutions for their specific applications. With a strong background in business development, Philippa previously held roles in advertising sales and as a Business Development Manager at Cromwell Tools, where she supported a broad portfolio of engineering products. A natural people person, she also spent four years living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where she taught English before returning to the UK and joining the GRAS team.

James Kelly is a British test and measurement engineer with over 20 years’ experience of designing custom automated test solutions for a variety of manufacturers in the audio industry, mainly using AP audio analysers. Before joining Audio Precision, James worked for companies including ARCAM (where he helped to develop the first ever functional ‘bed of nails’ testing facilities using AP analysers), TAG McLaren Audio, and International Audio Group (IAG) where he served as Head of Engineering in both Cambridgeshire and Shenzhen, China. Prior to leaving IAG, he designed automated test facilities for the manufacturing groups of Quad, Wharfedale, Mission and AudioLab.

Rental: For short term projects, Audio Precision has an inventory of our standard configuration audio analysers available for rental. All rental analysers are ISO:17025 calibrated.

Leasing: For UK companies that prefer small monthly payments over a capital outlay, Audio Precision offers long-term leases through an arrangement with RFL Credit. Leasing is equally ideal for startups that need test gear to get to market and established companies that want to keep engineers equipped with the latest technology while conserving capital.

Audio Precision offers free technical support to all customers for as long as they own their instruments. UK customers have three options for tech support. The first place to look is the AP Technical Library, that contains hundreds of resources on common challenges facing audio engineers as well on tips on how to get the most out of your AP analyser.
