Service Options

Audio Precision offers Service and Accredited Calibration at our factory in Beaverton, Oregon, USA for the following equipment:

Audio Analyzers including:

Accessories including:

• APx1701
• AUX-0025
• AUX-0040
• AUX-0100
• SWR switcher products
• PMK14

Legacy, Non-B Series APx analyzers can still be repaired and calibrated, but all spare parts are no longer available. If a repair cannot be made due to lack of replacement parts, the analyzer will be returned with as much functionality as possible restored and deficiencies noted in the service incident report.

No, non-APx analyzers or accessory products can be repaired or calibrated.

Do NOT send your unit for service without obtaining a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

AP Service, Repair, and Calibration
Audio Precision offers two levels of service for its hardware products depending upon whether calibration is required. 

Service A provides: 

  • Incoming performance assessment
  • Minor repairs, including component replacement, if required
    • Cosmetic repairs, replacement of major modules or subassemblies, or remediation of damage from the use of the analyzer outside its purpose or specification are not included
  • Adjustment for optimum performance
  • Final performance verification
  • New, tamper evident factory seals and adjustment instrument label
  • Service incident report
  • Certificate of traceability

Service B provides: 

  • Everything included in Service A
  • As received and as shipped calibration reports and certificate
  • Accredited calibration instrument label

All calibrations performed at our USA factory are accredited to ISO/IEC-17025:2017 and ANSI-NCSL Z540-1-1994 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).

Turnaround Time and Expedited Service
Both Service A and Service B typically take two weeks. Expedited service (1 week turnaround) is available for an additional charge.
IMPORTANT: These service turnaround times are contingent upon both a) receipt of the instrument at our factory and b) receipt of a valid order (purchase order issued to Axiometrix Solutions or credit card information).
